Stonehill International School Visit to Neerja Blue Pottery Workshop

Stonehill International School visited Neerja Blue Pottery Workshop comprising of 35 members including students, teachers and trailblazers on February 13,2018

Their visit started with the manufacturing unit where they were given a detailed session on history and making method of blue pottery.

The students were thereafter shown how artisans mould the product and how it is designed, painted and made on pottery wheel.

Under the supervision of the craftsmen, the students and chaperones underwent a workshop in which they innovated beautiful designs and painted with their own mind's eye.

Ma’am Leela Bordia conducted a personal session with them where she explained the essence of Blue Pottery and role of Neerja International in reinstating the glory and stature of Blue Pottery.

The visit culminated with the group shopping for beautiful jewelry and handmade articles at the blue pottery showroom.
