Jayshree Periwal International School, 2nd Std students visit Neerja Blue Pottery in Jaipur
Posted by PRIYA NEERJA
Students of 2nd class from JPIS visited Neeja International, Jaipur on 27th and 28th of April 2016.
School is the building block for the rest of our lives, this is what JPIS is doing for their students. The purpose of their visit was to learn how many departments actually work in an organization.
The kids were ardent to learn the process of how Blue Pottery is made and the role of different members in Neerja. They had many vivid questions which were solved by our Marketing and Communication Head. The children were even made to paint little blue pottery tiles for themselves and were promised to get these tiles back after being fired in the furnace.
They met each and every member of Neerja family and learned that we all work as a family member in Neerja, not as employees and employers. What a great way to teach the budding minds?? "Hands on experience" learning!!! Last but not the least, they had a role play activity in which every single student participated passionately and learnt the role of different stages of manufacturing of Blue Pottery at Neerja. It was indeed an exciting event at Neerja!!!!!!!
